There was 5 but they never acted on it. At 3 a.m. Doctor Hooker (who delivered my mother into this world) parked car was seen just down the road from the Gibson Farm. Orville had asthma and suffocated in the trunk this part was proven, then he was thrown of the Newbury bridge. After 83 days in the water he was found floating 7 miles down stream. I saw the photos of when he was found the crime scene and when he was on the autopsy table. His hands were bound together through his legs to his ankles and his legs were bound at the knees as well. Back then no suspicious death went unsolved in VT, as it was the law then, so it is ruled a suicide. I spoke with an old woman about this case when I was doing research about it and she told me that I shouldn't go looking into any further or it just may happen again.

Well, at least SOMEone got it.

I just figured it would be an old "local" joke. That everyone knew. Many years ago.

I am not suggesting KM is involved in Mauras disappearnce; but imo, she had to know of what was so upsetting to Maura and one would think LE would know this info. Brings me all back to my original theory that the answer lies in Amherst OR West Point...along with the perp.

I also interpret this as previous to that night and for me that is a stunning revelation. VERY meaningful. And Kmayote's deep concern for Maura comes through very clearly in this post. It is very strange because I had read this post by Kmayotte eons ago and at that time none of this hit me in the same way as it did just now. Clearly there is a history here of Maura having serious problems before the night of that phone call.

Most kids can't wait to get a driver's license when they're in high school.

If not, when was the last time she ran 5-6 miles a day regularly?

Did Maura run any distance at all just before she disappeared?

Do people with health problems NOT run?

Some forms of cancer, for example, do not have a lot of symptoms.

Diabetics often exercise vigorously.

I'm not like Mason, who wants to wring your neck or whatever dummified, Charlie McCarthy thing he said. Unlike you, I happen to respect the rule of law. I'd like to see you go to jail for a very long time, which, in my opinion, is exactly what you deserve.

Maura was a track and field athlete. She ran everyday 5-6 miles. She set a couple of records in track from elemetry school on into her college years. She was best at soccer but loved running cross country. She was offered many scholarships because of her athleticism.

This is my first time involved in any forum of any kind. Anyone with any info on Maura knew she was very involved in sports and excelled in track. She ran everyday rain or shine no matter what.
