NACOGDOCHES, Texas, Jan. 30 (UPI)-- Greg Wallace, a center on the Stephen F. Austin basketball team, collapsed and died during practice Friday, the school announced.
Wallace collapsed while shooting baskets at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. Emergency personnel transported him to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death had yet to be determined. A transfer from West Point, where he played the last two seasons, the 6-8, 220-pound Wallace was sitting out this season as per NCAA requirements. Wallace's teammates were en route to Saturday's game with Southeastern Louisiana, but returned to the school. The game was postponed indefinitely. "Basketball fades into the background when a tragedy such as this occurs," Southeastern Louisiana Coach Billy Kennedy said. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the young man's family and the entire Stephen F. Austin community." © 2004 United Press International, Inc. All Rights Reserved. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Thank you for making my point EACTLY.......... whew.. makes it easier. Again........ back to my original that you copied above. Let her reply to her own emails without influence. If you had NOT read it to her it would not have been tainted with your bias. you already stated your opinion. So... it would have been relayed with your influence. I don't think he got her email off the forum. I didn't. |

Bill: Billy was Maura's upper classmate, as well as her sister Julia. Therefore Maura would have known several upper classmates. Quija: thank you for the information re Greg Wallace, the timing of his death is rather coincidential. I recall a friend of mine died of sudden cardiac death at age 19, and I was profoundly affected and quit school and worked for 2 years instead of immediately going to college. Took up reading and writing poetry which I never did prior, my friend's death was the beginning of understanding "existential reality". |

Judged: 2 2 2 per your quote: "I’m speaking now in my official capacity as a lawyer and officer of the court." at post #18705/p. 929 please define "officer of the court" in the context of your warning, along with intending implications for your willingness and obligation to enforce the law and/or compliance by posters on these forums. thank you. |

Judged: 5 4 3 Just out of curiosity, how is this different from character assassination, as people have accused long-time MMM posters of dragging other people's names and reputations through the mud?(and if anyone is reading closely, you would do well to notice THAT I DIDN'T POST ANY NAMES)? That's not a rhetorical question. I'm seriously asking. How is saying that using "loving father" and "Fred Murray" together is an abomination any better than saying "I think the bus driver should be looked at closely" ???(LOOK I STILL DIDN'T USE HIS NAME.) If anyone could answer that question, I'd be delighted. I will await reply. |

Judged: 4 3 2 Mason Fred is not a suspect, other than in your mind, and others who are sorely misguided. Speaking of being consumed, read the words you've spoken and weap, consumed is as consumed does. Soon as I saw the recent post of equally bad taste pointing fingers at Fred, I knew you could not resist returning to victimize the victims, seems you do that well, good defense lawyer technique, but the question then becomes, who is paying you? Because if you are doing this of your own account, weap hard, and long. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Well anyone can say anything on the internet where there is no moderator, or anyone to keep fact from fiction, what you are referring to is pure fiction. JM to the best of my recollection stated the Saturn hit the snowbank, and back up parallel to the road. Perhaps the person who told you JM said the car hit the trees was in error. You had JM not being at home at all, or at least repeated something you knew not to be so. |

Judged: 1 1 1 The SBD alleges Maura squeezed out of the driver's door up against the snowbank, and he spoke to her over the hood, 15 feet away. No footprints would appear on the road, as allegedly it was clear of snow. There are also reports of footprints behind JM's house. It is the first I hear of footprints heading east. If Sgt. S headed down BHR to search for Maura, after he ran the plates, and had the information from the SBD that he was looking for a female, and not a male as FW reported, then obviously the RED TRUCK was not parked on the BHR at that time, because surely he would have stopped an investigated a truck that close to the accident scene. I have not heard it mentioned before that he headed down the BHR, I read where he headed West. What is the source of the information that Sgt. S headed down BHR, and what time did he head this way. Who was at the scene while Sgt. S left the scene to go searching, and how long was he gone. Was Trooper M at the scene. Was Sgt. C. left at the scene. Was S |

Judged: 4 3 3 What is good for the goose is good for the gander, you should take your own advise, and stay the heck out of Fred's. You have stated things in public that are beneath comment, and should you be allowed to run amuk? No is the quick answer. Many here can't and won't let that happen. You are obviously in need of professional help, but I too know that you will not seek the help you need as you are blinded by your own misconscrewed self image and loathings. It is obvious your professional image has been built on a house of cards, house of grass as we say in gaelic, and it has come down about you. Find someone else to pick on, find some other case to solve; as far as you solving this case, this God image is reserved for police, which is what we pay them for, and hold them accountable, and accept their vow of secrecy, it is for them to know. Not you, not me, not anyone here. I'm wondering at your words, which speak volumes; how many innocent people you have harmed and how many evil people you have protected, a staggering and distrubing thought; Jesus, Mary and Joseph protect us from the LIKES! I don't need to go anywhere to find hell, it is right here, right now, "No Exit". |

Judged: 5 4 3 In defense of MacKay, I have never heard it mentioned that he rented a hotel room, the report in the Grafton Log mentioned as quoted here, he was off at the motel. He was on duty,it seems unlikely he rented a motel room. If he did which is questionable, this likely has nothing to do with Maura. As far as a creepy motel, there are no lack of these in the world, and have heard nothing regarding the Bear Room and mysterious unlocking door. I believe, Fred, family, friends, PI's have visited most motels, hotels and hostels in the area to check and see if Maura rented a room. |

Judged: 3 3 1 2. Looking back at the night of Maura's emotional breakdown, Feb. 6 around 1AM, and finally, actually READING the articles I posted about Greg Wallace, I noticed that his funeral set for Friday, Feb. 6, 2004. So.... it's a long shot, but Maura might have known him (without necessarily speaking about him to her family...) and might have gotten the news of his funeral the night she broke down. |
