The Assistant Dean also was running a scheme awarding grades for sex. The other whistleblower is a highly respected former circuit court judge named John John T. Daughaday. Our efforts produced a civil RICO lawsuit filed in federal court against the Dean and bthe Assistant Dean. The case was settled three months later and we were reinstated with full backpay. Unfortunately, the new school (Barkley School of Law) born out of the former school (American Justice of Law) was multiple millions of dollars in debt due to the financial misdeeds of the former Dean and Assistant Dean. The new school collapsed under the debt and was unable to renew the contracts of all faculty members on August 31, 2008. It ceased operations effective December 31, 2008, and is now in bankruptcy. Fortunately, Judge Daughaday (who was appointed Interim Dean of the Barkley School of Law) and the rest of the faculty, including me, were able to help all but a few of our students transfer into other law schools where they are performing very well academically. Our faculty was rated exceptional by the ABA. Principles matter to me and my students mattered to me. I will live or die by my principles, doesn't matter which outcome. I doubt you can say the same. Mason will you answer me this? I poked around and what jumped out at me was the fact that both of the schools did not have accreditation. You are required to have a degree from an accredited Law School to take the bar exam. Were either of these schools ever accredited?? Were teaching students at both of these law schools knowing they could not take the Bar Exam? This is where I am confused. Sorta like how I'm confused about the NH RSA's. Oh, and I'm not a secretary.

Thanks, White Wash. When people complain about the local NH PD, they seem to forget that the HPD and GCSD made at least 6-7 phone calls beginning the night Maura went missing and continuing the next day. They were really active; they called everywhere! What more could they do? By the way, why would Fred wait an hour to call them back? Because when he did call, the log shows he was (obviously) frantic. Why wait an hour?

I'll have to review the log, among other things, but didn't HPD leave a message on Fred's machine when they finally got the right Fred Murray? That would account for the time discrepancy. He returned the call as soon as he got the message.

How to Become a Private Investigator: Private Eye as a Profession The Scope of Work: Private investigators are professionals who carry out various investigations for their clients. Their services are retained by solicitors, councils, insurance companies, private companies and individuals as well. It is not uncommon for investigators to be involved in process serving, which is the job of presenting legal documents to individuals or companies. But private investigators ’ work also includes surveillance, fraud investigation , missing people’s enquiries, investigating insurance claims, commercial piracy, and personnel selection or background checks. Most private investigators are self-employed or work on freelance basis, and despite a glamorous image, this work can be unexciting, dangerous and financially less rewarding. Private Investigator Training Courses Though there are no formal qualifications required to become a private investigator , it is advantageous to have good general education. Any additional experience in related fields such as the police or other security work would also be helpful. It’s advisable to enrol for basic courses especially starting out. Moreover, such basic education will be required to obtain a licence in many areas. And experienced private investigators can opt for advanced courses that provide an impetus for a successful investigative career. Investigator Licensing Licensing requirements differ from state to state and country to country. Check with your state/country’s licensing department for more information. It’s important that you gain a license, where required, before you start your investigative career. Opportunities The demand for private investigators is expected to rise by 23% by the year 2010. The unquenchable thirst for information has led to the creation of new specialities and areas of expertise on a regular basis. Though many private investigators can benefit from a well-paying career, experienced private investigators can earn as much as $100,000 a year from working on different types of cases. And with investigative and security industries getting bigger, only sky is the limit! elsewherebriefly wrote: Interesting Mason, With all of your credentials you still do not meet the criteria of obtaining your license as a private investigator in the state of New Hampshire.

They are not hired in fact Weeper was part of association that had a spokes person for the Media and it wasn't him! I really wonder how the rest of the group feels about him underminding their work. Being associated with someone who breaks the law! Yes Det.Col. was treapassing on private property without permission when he/Fred where looking at the Saturn. Fred was not longer the said owner of the Saturn and they did not have permission to be where they where! elsewherebriefly wrote: Hmm, Maura is a missing person and her investigation is ongoing. Kathleen reached Fred at 5 PM. The log states Fred Murray returned HPD's call at 6 PM! For me an hour isn't getting right back to someone! But that is IMO. A law professor who isn't a lawyer, who hasn't passed the bar, doesn't have clients, but has "worked with serial killers." How's YOUR relationship with your daughter, Mason?

Mason wrote: <quoted text> Your thinly veiled accusation that I stole student loan money is false and unsupported by any evidence. Read the federal court Complaint filed against the Dean, the Assistant Dean, and their accountant. My suggestion that Fred Murray picked up Maura at the scene is based on a web of circumstantial evidence and no alibi. Ahem. You're the one who said that you were "fired without a reason." Doesn't that leave plenty of wiggle-room. "You can't prove why I was fired." Indeed. Nor can you. You've admitted that you were fired.

I assume he doesn't have them and everyone except the ducks now believe he has no alibi. He's got some splainin to do, given that he has no alibi, has lied repeatedly, and been a party to inserting so many red herrings into the case. I cannot imagine an innocent explanation for his gross misconduct and, until I hear one, I intend to focus my attention on him. He is the only viable suspect in my opinion. Now, I'm working on his motive. And SURELY, if there were a shred of truth to any of your so-called "theories" - NHLE, having been soundly criticized for its treatment of the case, would have NO interest in pursuing these claims? It NEVER would have crossed their minds? Are you saying, Mason, that NHLE has neglected evidence which is so obvious to you, when you've never even set foot in NH? Are you calling NHLE inept and incapable, Mason? What about the FBI, Mason? Also incompetent, also less effective investigators than you?

i'm becoming convinced that Mason/Fred may be the one to solve this thing. SB's vetting process may fully substantiate Fred's/Mason's claims...or not. regardless, his reasoning/thought processes and apparent extensive background in putting forth these considerations, even over a relatively short period of time, are evidence of progress. who came along and halted the stupid train...long enough for the quackers to entertain, if only briefly, other theoretical possibilities? a match to any quackin' duck, i believe they will be circling in another direction at his feet, beaks agape, in due course. just a guess.

i'll qualify the first statement.... ....the one to ultimately solve this thing in conjunction with resources already in place, and in collaboration with others. let's see.

Surely, because "Mason" says that he is "Fred Leatherman" (and not Beagle), he must BE Fred Leatherman. Surely, NHLE has not thought of investigating FM, to say nothing of having pursued such an investigation. Surely, if NHLE had (or even had not) uncovered anything to make them look at FM, they would not have shared it with the FBI in that it would involve multiple states. Surely, if the investigation does, as it should, not eliminate ANY possibilities which unless they have solid, verifiable alibis, ALL persons of interest are on the table for discussion, whether they are local to the area or not. Surely, known rapists and murders living elsewhere who might have been or in fact WERE in the area at the time of Maura's disappearance - including Lovie Riddle, Brian Rooney and Micahel Nichalaou - should not be eliminated as persons of interest? These avenues of inquiry are "getting nowhere" because the discussion of other than Mason's cherished theories is always silenced by diatrible and the screams of locals who refuse to admit the possibility that anyone in northern NE could be capable of rape, abduction or murder. Kind of flies in the face of known human reason, which says a lot.

"Marta-Ella" from "Zagreb, Croatia" - this is a discussion forum for the purpose of finding out what happened to Maura Murray. You'll need to find out about the "proxy address" for yourself. Google "proxy address." Do NOT ask again. Mason, at which school did you say that you are currently teaching, or were you teaching after the Barkley School of Law debacle? Are you, in fact, Fred Leatherman, the defense attorney for Gary Leon Ridgway, the Green River Killer?
